What you get to do:
  • Development of all direct reports by providing training, feedback and coaching
  • Know and ensure ambassadors follow all policies and procedures
  • Ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service for all guests
  • Create, implement, and monitor plans for loss prevention in the area
  • Control the flow of goods and make up supply requisitions as needed to include cost of goods management.
  • Ensure store operations are conducted in accordance with all existing merchandise, park, and corporate operating policies and procedures
  • Ensure assigned areas (front and back of house) are maintained in a neat and orderly manner
  • Conduct training classes to include department orientation, cash handling, games training, Safety in Motion and Serve Safe training; maintaining all training records
  • Train, develop and coach ambassadors on photo quality, clarity and camera settings
  • Assist with troubleshooting of photo equipment and communicate issues to appropriate teams
  • Review and edit all schedules to insure proper coverage within assigned areas; timecard management
  • Maintain neat, clean, attractive, and functionally effective merchandise displays
  • Maximize sales and profit levels which includes recording sales to determine periodic usage of fast and/or slow moving items
  • Actively sell photo and retail merchandise, to include service items such as strollers and lockers
  • Restock displays; ensure in-stock items are on display and process damaged merchandise
  • Assist in taking stock counts and annual inventory, as needed
  • Transporting various sized boxes/packages by handcart
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What it takes to succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • 3 years of previous retail or guest service experience
  • At least one year of leadership experience
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
  • Experience dealing with loss prevention
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to complete provided CPR training/certification
  • Excellent cash handling skills
  • Have strong written or verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push and pull 40 pounds
  • Comfortable working in/around water and around animals
  • Ability to walk on sand if assigned to water parks
  • Ability to move freely around work areas
  • Ability to to climb stairs
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
  • Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality or related field is preferred
  • Training experience preferred
  • Previous experience creating and maintaining merchandise displays preferred
  • Previous games and/or photo management experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience is preferred
  • Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred
