What you get to do:


You will be responsible for Sourcing and Procurement activities with a focus on stakeholder relationship management, category management, and technical solutions in support of the Food & Beverage (F&B) business units. You will ensure consistency in the procurement/sourcing processes, and quality and depth of analysis to fully understand Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and key business drivers. You have excellent internal customer service abilities as you will be responsible for interfacing with all levels of management on a regular basis. You will direct F&B Procurement Operations teams on functional activities relating to Supply Management processes. This ensures a seamless approach that drives operational efficiencies across the supply chain, optimizes the team’s ability to influence COS, and promotes alignment with company goals and strategic initiatives. You will:
  • Make recommendations on Strategic Sourcing policy and procedures
  • Lead the development of the Annual Operating Savings Plan to deliver agreed upon economic value to the business
  • Supplier management and development including supplier relationship management and supply chain sustainability
  • Identify opportunities to partner with suppliers to improve processes and/or reduce cost
  • Spend analysis and sourcing strategies to optimize the efficiency and value of the supply base
  • Engage and partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, support agreed upon goals and requirements, and meet/exceed their expectations
  • External supply market analysis to develop long range sourcing strategies that maximize value to the company
  • Provide cost and commodity market analysis following Sourcing & Procurement models focusing on the total cost of ownership
  • Prepare and execute structured bids and negotiations following the Strategic Sourcing Process
  • Lead the team in continuous process improvement to drive efficiencies and implement appropriate performance measures to ensure consistency in execution
  • Ensure consistent application of sourcing & procurement policies and processes
  • Manage and motivate F&B Buyers and Category Managers. Drive internal skill/capability development and promote professional development
  • Achieve measurable results where key stakeholders’ expectations are exceeded
  • Prepare and present written reports and presentations as appropriate
  • Help resolve customer issues, ensure a satisfactory resolution is put in place, and implement procedures so it doesn’t happen again
  • Partner with IT on identifying and implementing cost effective technologies to increase transaction efficiencies and drive down overall cost of procurement
  • Ability to positively manage change and align cross functional teams towards common goals
  • Set standard of excellence in the areas of work product, professionalism, drive and dedication to Sourcing & Procurement
  • Partner with Business Unit key stakeholders, Legal, Compliance, and Sourcing on optimization of the contract administration function in collaboration with the Director of Indirect Procurement to include process improvement activities, resource utilization, use of automation to drive efficiencies, and improve visibility into commitments.
  • Functional direction for F&B park procurement teams and Manager of F&B including process optimization, automation to drive efficiencies, inventory optimization initiatives to free cash flow
  • Lead the F&B procurement teams in implementation of tools and resources to ensure compliance with negotiated deals
  • Lead cross functional teams in product development and product standardization to enhance the ability to leverage spend across F&B category
  • Lead in the development and execution of performance management programs with suppliers that focus on quality, food safety, on-time service levels, and cost (Quality Assurance process)
  • Support Culinary CSR initiatives including ambassador training to drive compliance with the Responsible Sourcing Policy
  • Lead the identification and process improvement of optimizing inventory control procedures for F&B inventory
  • Would act as subject matter expert for ERP Inventory Management Module for the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What it takes to succeed:


  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or another quantitative discipline preferred
  • Certification in either C.P.M., CPSM, or other supply chain management certification desired
  • Expertise in Supply Chain Management with focus on Direct materials
  • In-depth knowledge of commodities that impact the Culinary spend
  • 7+ years Sourcing and Procurement experience
  • 7+ years of Inventory Control and Supply Chain experience
  • 5+ years of experience in team leadership
  • Experienced in SAP or other ERP system
  • Experienced with MRP inventory management
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, accept change and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, communicate effectively and influence senior level management
  • Ability to gain consensus across multiple business units company-wide
  • Willingness to travel
