What you get to do:
With the Administrative Assistant-Warehouse role, you’ll receive shipments, verify invoices and enter product information into our computer-based program. Adhering to all Sesame Place inventory procedures, you will make sure the right products get to the right places at the right time. You will:
  • Be responsible for all administrative duties associated with Warehouse receiving, including data entry, processing paperwork, file management and record retention
  • Partner with Retail Specialist (Merchandise), Purchasing Coordinator (Culinary) and Accounts Payable Manager (Finance) to ensure accurate inventory quality and control of merchandise, culinary products and general receiving
  • Unloading, confirming and receiving of all inbound packages and pallets at the dock
  • Coordinate efforts between Warehouse and all other departments to ensure proper documentation, reporting and processing of all inventory receipts and payment in a timely manner
  • Communicate daily with all levels of leadership
  • Process daily paperwork in SAP and MMS system
  • Assist Warehouse Leader in other projects that support efficiency and enhancement of Warehouse logistics and operations
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for guests and team members
  • Maintain company standards and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
  • 18 years of age
  • Understanding of Purchase Order and Accounts Payable process
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must have excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Availability to work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
  • Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
  • Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
  • Ability to lift, push or pull at least 75 lbs
