Then we have a role for you! We're looking for a savvy Compliance Supervisor who can lead our team as they audit and trend to keep our park safe from risk!

What you get to do:
As a Compliance Supervisor with SeaWorld Orlando, you will:
  • Review and approve working plans for Compliance Coordinators
  • Manage work plan for fraud analysis, review and prevention
  • Manage work plan for chargeback analysis, review and prevention
  • Manage centralized global refund process
  • Coordinate with reporting area leadership to ensure compliant sales audits and reviews
  • Assist with weekly labor planning and allocation
  • Assigned project lead roles during new policy, system or procedure rollouts
  • Project leader for fraud review program
  • Partner with Corporate offices to ensure all compliance plans are enacted properly
  • Partner with Investigations to detect, mitigate and prosecute fraud
  • Review all internal controls for the 3 Orlando parks, including Sarbanes-Oxley testing
  • Monitor cash over-shorts, physical inventories and internet purchases
  • Track and document findings that they can be used for risk assessment and metrics
  • Periodically review policies and procedures with regard to cash-handling, system access and register controls
  • Cross-train to develop a more well-rounded knowledge of the Finance/Accounting department
  • Organize and oversee special projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
  • At least 2 years of auditing, finance or banking experience
  • At least 1 year of previous leadership experience
  • Ability to perform system-related research
  • Ability to track and report metrics
  • Ability to determine best practices and recommend process improvements
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent cash handling skills
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Availability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business-related field preferred
  • Auditing experience preferred
  • Fraud / Chargeback experience required
  • Experience working with Accertify and/or Emailage applications
  • 2 years of previous leadership preferred
