What you'll get to do:

  • Training of ambassadors by providing feedback and coaching
  • Know and ensure ambassadors follow all policies and procedures
  • Monitor ambassador work and break schedules
  • Maintain a leadership presence for ambassadors and guests in assigned areas
  • Ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service
  • Maintain neat, clean, attractive, and functionally effective merchandise displays
  • Maximize sales and profit levels which includes recording sales to determine periodic usage of fast and/or slow moving items
  • Control the in-store flow of goods and make up supply requisitions
  • Restock displays; ensure in-stock items are on display and process damaged merchandise
  • Ensure store operations are conducted in accordance with all existing merchandise, park and corporate operating policies and procedures
  • Assist as needed in taking stock counts and annual inventory, as needed
  • Conduct revenue and performance audits
  • Review incoming merchandise for proper pricing and ticketing
  • Actively sell photo and retail merchandise, to include service items such as strollers and lockers
  • Assist with troubleshooting of photo equipment and communicate issues to appropriate teams
  • Monitor in-store conduct of employees and guests to prevent loss of merchandise and takes appropriate corrective action where necessary
  • Transporting various sized boxes/packages by handcart

What it takes to succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous leadership experience
  • At least one year merchandise experience in one of more of the following areas: retail, photo, games/vending, lockers, strollers/rentals
  • At least 18 years old
  • Complete provided CPR training/certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent cash handling skills
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift, push and pull 40 pounds
  • Comfortable working in/around water and around animals
  • Able to walk on sand if assigned to water parks
  • Able to move freely around work areas
  • Able to climb steps and stadium stairs
  • Able to work indoors AND outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
  • Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Possession or pursuit of Bachelor’s degree preferred
