What you will get to do:
As a key member of our Entertainment Team, you’ll play a major role in bringing happiness and excitement to people from around the world. You will:

  • Assist in the installation/remounting of new or changing show/performance product while maintaining open, clear and concise communication with internal and external departments
  • Work with cast and crew to maintain the integrity of the show and maintenance with regards to technical and safety related issues as well as general cleaning. Learning technical tracks in order to fill in, when necessary
  • Train, supervise, evaluate, coach and develop the cast/crew in your assigned venue/area. Administering feedback sessions and evaluations in a timely manner
  • Follow and maintain training protocols and standard operating procedures in your assigned venue/area and collaborating with your Supervisor to update and develop these, as needed
  • Assist in the maintenance of ambassador training records
  • Assist in the development, training and maintenance of safety inspections and procedures for your assigned venue/area
  • This includes, but is not limited to, green tag procedure, injury reduction plans, MSDS sheets, emergency action plans and monthly safety inspections
  • Consistently practice safe work habits and reporting unsafe situations to management
  • Act as the point-of-contact in your respective areas for internal and external departments, as well as outside contractors (i.e. directors, choreographers, construction companies, etc.)
  • Various tasks for assigned venue/area to include, but not limited to, attending meetings, attending development classes, monitoring team’s schedules and hours, ambassador documentation, updating/maintaining ambassador files, checking/responding to email in a timely manner, creating/maintaining personal & venue calendars and assisting guests when necessary
  • Demonstrate consistent courtesy and professionalism in all work aspects with all ambassadors and guests
  • Assist department in other areas, as needed

What it takes to succeed:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree preferred
  • Two (2) years of related experience in Theater preferred
  • Prior technical training and management experience preferred
  • General knowledge of theatrical operation required
  • Certain venues require the ability to swim
  • Certain venues require applicant be at least 18 years of age
  • Working knowledge of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel
  • Able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service
  • Able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
  • Willing to comply with and ensure ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
  • Able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
