Park Ops Logistics & Scheduling Coordinator

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION OF JOB:


The primary purpose and function of the Logistics Coordinator is to ensure team member scheduling, training & tracking are met in a timely and accurate fashion. The position also includes other administrative duties that support business functions.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Scheduling team members (daily schedules, training schedules, specialty classes schedules), verifying availabilities and days off


  • Track training documentation, monitor completion percentages and assist with in - park auditing.


  • Complete weekly reports that monitor department processes and communicate information to managers, group supervisors, and assistant supervisors.


  • Update Team Manage, requisition files, and location staffing reports weekly to ensure the appropriate amount of team members are hired into each location.


  • Assist Supervisors in maintaining a presence and visibility with team members through in person meetings, phone calls, and time spent in the park.


  • Role Model Operations commitments to Service, Safety and Quality through work ethic and job performance.


  • Assist operations teams in rides and Guest Arrival as needed.



Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
  • One year Busch Gardens or Water Country experience preferred
  • One year scheduling experience preferred
  • Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills required.
  • Ability to self-motivate and complete tasks independently required
