What you get to do:
As a Diver III, you will Maintain the cleanliness, integrity, and appearance of exhibits and holding pools by performing the following duties:
•Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and
•Assists in the coordination of cleaning underwater facilities throughout the park.
•Maintains accurate daily dive logs and records.
•Stay current on all OSHA dive regulations.
•Utilizes safe handling, storage and disposal practices for toxic substances and hazardous
waste in accordance with company policies.
•Operates and maintains system for refilling compressed air cylinders used in diving operations.
•Assists maintenance on underwater equipment as necessary.
•Ensures general cleanliness of all facilities throughout the park.
•Occasionally assists other locations and areas in the park as needed.
•Other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
• At least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year diving experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 20 logged open water dives within the last 3 years.
• Available to work Monday - Friday from 7AM - 12PM without restrictions.
• A valid California driver's license; out of state residents, active military, their dependents and students, must have a valid driver’s license from their state of residency and provide a copy of the DMV report.
• Able to complete the company's Vehicle Driver Training class and obtain a SeaWorld driver’s license.
• Open Water Diver Certified, C.P.R., and First Aid certified.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 100lbs with or out without accommodation.
• Employment is contingent upon passing a dive physical and swim test assessment.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
• Knowledge of diver’s diseases and emergency remedial procedures highly desirable
