What you get to do:
Manage in-store promotions and price changes for all assigned locations; setting daily sales goals and coaching team members that are not meeting expectations
Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed including cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention procedures; Initiate cash audits, perform surveillance audits, and track over/shorts for the department.
Ensure team members are providing World Class Service; recognizing / rewarding above standard behavior, coaching / disciplining those not meeting expectations, resolving immediate guest concerns, investigating and providing recommendations to correct reoccurring guest service issues
Tour area of responsibility to identify maintenance related items, communicating immediate concerns and following up on completion, ensuring opening/closing procedures are followed, and maintaining store layout in accordance with facility plan-o-grams
Manage controllable expenses including labor, production supplies, and inventory accounts for assigned locations
Trouble shoot common photo system equipment failures and partnering with technical services and Colorvision International teams to reduce system down time.
Manage inventory levels by completing daily stocking tasks; placing all warehouse orders nightly, overseeing timely receiver verification, manage damage levels of product, and track/input all product movement from location to location. Perform weekly and end of month cycle counts and other inventory management tasks as needed to maintain inventory integrity; timely receiver verification; communicating max/min adjustments.
Set daily sales goals and coaching team members that are not meeting expectations. Planning and implementing sales contests and incentives programs.
Manage labor budgets by conducting “real time” schedule edits to react to weekly business trends, recommended labor efficiencies, ensure high productivity of staff, react to business levels, complete all time off request, employee maintenance and weekly schedules, and time keeping management via Kronos Workplace.
Maintain the highest level of team member satisfaction, communicate daily to team members, supervision, and management
Ensure team member safety
Complete all other assigned task and duties as directed by department leadership.
What it takes to succeed:
High School Diploma / GED
Professional and effective communication skills
Ability to effectively manage time
Effective conflict management skills
Two years of park gift shop and/or photo experience preferred
