What you get to do:


You will develop and implement social media strategy, creative and social care to enhance our corporate image. This involves managing channels and content to promote our reputation, including creating new content on a regular basis. You will build digital advocacy platforms while incorporating third party support. The position involves working closely with the company’s digital consulting agencies, Corporate Marketing, and park teams to develop and execute these strategies. You will:

  • Create the vision for SeaWorld’s ideal social media strategy both for all parks
  • Drive new followers and advocacy for all brands and parks
  • Develop our outbound communication strategy
  • Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to plan, strategize, produce, execute and analyze social media performance
  • Ensure social initiatives align with overall business and marketing objectives
  • Develop and manage programs that build digital advocacy from third-parties and key influencers
  • Support and compliment corporate reputation content for web, mobile and social
  • Approve and prioritize projects and budgets
  • Coach, mentor and manage social care team member response and performance
  • Support team member growth and development
  • Lead park social media content development and production
  • Evaluate new technology trends among influencer audiences
  • Deliver performance reporting to share key brand sentiment scores, issues, and positive news shared across social channels


What it takes to succeed:


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years in managerial role leading a team
  • Experience in Communications, Social Media Strategy and managing Creative Content and Production.
  • Theme park or hospitality industry with focus on guest relations
  • Proficiency in social media management systems (e.g., Sprinklr, Khoros, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet team output expectations
