Busch Gardens Williamsburg is looking for qualified candidates to join the Business Intern Program. Interns selected for this program will have an opportunity to network and gain hands-on industry experience. The objective of our program is to offer interns a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of theme park operation.

The requirements of the Business Intern program are as follows:
• Must be currently pursuing a college degree
• Commit to working through the 2019 peak operating season (mid May-mid August)
• Flexible availability (you may be scheduled as early as 6am or as late as midnight and are expected to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed)
• Excellent human relations and communication skills
• Display initiative and sound judgment
• Previous leadership experience is preferred

Culinary Operations Interns may be responsible for:

• Coordinating daily activities of the location such as job assignments and break schedules for team members
• Training team members and ensuring completion of training documentation
• Maintaining safety standards for team members and guests
• Setting an example of World Class Service for guests and team members
• Assisting in resolving guest concerns at the location

Interns will participate in:

• Weekly seminars held by various departments
• Park tours with members of the parks’ leadership team
• Meetings with the parks’ senior leadership team
• Completion of a comprehensive group internship project due at the completion of the program

Locations and positions will be based upon applicant qualifications and availability. Leadership positions are limited and promotional opportunities may be available through the summer. This is a paid internship and can be used for credits based on the requirements of your College or University. Please see your school for requirements.
