Basic Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must have three years of culinary experience
Three years in Banquet/Catering experience and guest facing event set-up and management in theme parks, hotel or other high volume restaurant environment preferred.
Must have high school diploma or GED Equivalent
Associates in Culinary Arts or formal culinary training preferred
Must have a valid state driver’s license and the ability to obtain a SeaWorld Driver’s License.
Must be able to obtain Serve Safe certification within 60 days
Must have basic math skills and strong working knowledge of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to push, pull and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work indoors and outside weather conditions
Must be able to perform job duties/task and meet the minimum qualifications of the positions within the scope of supervision
Must possess basic computer/Window’s software knowledge
Provide excellent service to guests and ambassadors.
Must be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
Must be willing to comply with and ensure ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain the highest levels of food safety, quality and cleanliness in all work areas
Assist in the planning, preparation and execution for internal and external special events to include high-quality set-up, coordination of schedules and equipment logistics
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws including the training and development of ambassadors, scheduling of shifts and assignment daily tasks, management of work performance, resolution of complaints and issues
Oversee the completion of assigned tasks to ensure proper food handling, service and storage in accordance with the company and legal guidelines
Enforce company policies, procedures and guidelines to include but not limited to grooming, attendance, quality, safety and guest service
Foster and maintain a positive work environment as well as build relationships with other departments
Must be able to perform job duties/tasks of positions within scope of supervision and willing to perform tasks when business levels require
Other duties as assigned to include working in other locations throughout the park as needed.
