Aquatic Tech

To monitor and adjust pool chemistry, add chemicals when needed, clean pools in the morning.

Requirements and Competencies

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • pool knowledeg, chemical knowledge
  • Be exposed to fumes, dust, and/or odor
  • Be exposed to loud noises
  • Be exposed to motion
  • Be exposed to water
  • Be exposed to vibrations
  • Wear protective gear when required
  • Work from heights
  • Work in hot temperature extremes
  • Work indoors with air conditioning
  • Work indoors with no air conditioning
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Work outdoors in shaded areas
  • Work with chemicals

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and recording the pool readings.
  • Vacuuming the pools to ensure water clarity.
  • Backwashing the filters and checking the pumps.
  • Adding pool chemicals to maintain proper water chemistry.
  • Maintaining the proper cleanliness fo the pump houses.
